HDAC inhibition induced MET-like process in cardiac fibroblasts. Atrial CD90+ cells were treated with Mocetinostat for 7 days. (A) Transmitted light images demonstrate changes in cell morphology upon treatment with Mocetinostat. Scale bar: 100 μm. (B) Cells were labeled with antibodies to α-SMA (red) and β-catenin (green). DAPI (Blue) is used to stain nuclei. Scale bar: 50 μM. (C) CD90+ cells treated with Mocetinostat were lysed and western blot analysis was performed against E-cadherin and β-catenin.
