Caveolin 1 (Cav-1) serum levels in lung transplant recipients (10 BOSpos and 43 BOSneg patients) are increased in homozygotes of the minor alleles compared with carriers of the major allele of rs3807989 (P = 0.03) and rs3807994 (P = 0.02).
