CSD peptide inhibits the bleomycin-induced accumulation of CD45+/ColI+ fibrocytes in lung tissue. Sections from saline-treated mice receiving the CSD peptide (CSD) or the control, scrambled peptide (Control) and sections from bleomycin-treated mice receiving the CSD peptide (Bleo/CSD) or the scrambled peptide (Bleo) were harvested ten days after treatment, then stained for CD45 (green) and ColI (red). Nuclei were labeled with DAPI (blue). (A) Upper row: merged low-magnification images. Lower row: merged high-magnification images. Bars = 10 μm.
